Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok is one of the best Aatrox players in the world, and the hero is TheShy’s most played champion this LPL Spring Split.

In game two of IG’s series against Edward Gaming, both teams were tied in gold and dragons.

Late in the mid game, TheShy found a favorable angle against his opposing top laner, Lim “Jinoo” Jin-woo. Committing to the 1v1, he popped World Ender to open the fight. Knowing that he could not take on TheShy alone, Jinoo activated Lightning Rush and met up with Lee “Scout” Ye-chan’s Azir.

With the numbers advantage, they turned on TheShy. However, utilizing vision gained in the bush, he quickly turned around to avoid Kennen’s Slicing Maelstrom.

Even though Scout threw everything at him, TheShy was relentless, landing all three hits of The Darkin Blade. Thanks to the lifesteal and newly added resistances of Death’s Dance, TheShy’s Aatrox gained back enough health to survive the 1v2, taking Azir down in the process.

Even though he fell to Miss Fortune in the end, this bought enough time for his teammates to clean up.

Invictus Gaming went on to win the series 2-0.
