Match of the week: T1 vs Gen.G

T1 came out victorious in their second and final rival match-up with Gen.G. While Gen.G claimed game one due to a failed Nexus rush by T1, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and the boys came back with a reverse-sweep, winning games two and three.

With Faker choosing Tristana, T1 raced past Gen.G in terms of gold income and tower breakdowns, taking out all ten turrets and accumulating a 10K gold lead. Also dominating in kills, T1 easily sieged Gen.G’s base from all lanes, resulting in a minion-rush at the Nexus.

T1 finally locked Gen.G down in game three. With an Infernal Soul and an incredible 12 kill advantage on their side, T1 easily secured the ace for a defenseless Nexus Rush near the 30-minute mark.

Player of the week: Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon

DragonX’s Chovy is one of the best mid laners in the world, and he proved it this week in DRX’s match against GenG.

Chovy flexed his Zoe skills with some incredible longshot paddle stars and deadly bubbles, claiming an early quadra-kill.
