The North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) has confirmed that the finals for its 2020 Spring Split will be held online.

The confirmation came from LCS Commissioner, Chris Greeley, who also reaffirmed the league’s previous decision to continue the Split online as a precautionary measure to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Originally intended as an offline event in Texas, the finals had been moved to Riot Games’ Los Angeles studio. However, the County of Los Angeles recently implemented an order prohibiting any events with 10 persons or more for one month effective from March 19 until April 19.

Despite being streamed live online, the LCS is planning to make the most out of the finals which are set for April 18 and 19.

Summoners can catch all the action on the LCS Twitch channel and the LoL Esports YouTube channel.
