An unexpected use of Trundle’s Pillar of Ice was showcased by Team Liquid (TL) jungler Jake “Xmithie” Puchero during the LCS Summer Split 2019.

Using League of Legends‘ Troll King Trundle, TL Xmithie casted the champion’s second ability Pillar of Ice to stop Echo Fox (FOX) jungler Michael “MikeYeung” Yeung’s Jarvan IV from dealing damage to a low-health TL Jeong “Impact” Eon-Yeong’s Gangplank. The pillar not just cancelled J4’s Dragon Strike and Demacian Standard abilities, but knocked up Jarvan as well.

The clash ended with two kills for Team Liquid.
