An impressive First Blood was achieved by Cloud9 (C9) top laner Eric “Licorice” Ritchie during the seventh week of the League of Legends Championship Series Summer Split.

The action took place between C9 Licorice’s Malphite and CounterLogic Gaming’s (CLG) Kim “Ruin” Hyeong-min’s Jayce during the early moments of the match. In between hits and Flash abilities exhausted, C9 Licorice managed to score a well-earned solo kill.

Despite the early game advantage, the match turned out in favor of Counter Logic Gaming after 28 minutes.
