Accolades for League of Legends superstar Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok continue to pour in.

Fresh from making it to the Forbes list 30 Under 30, the SK Telecom 1 player is getting honored in the new “Galaxy Slayer” Zed skin.

Considered to be the one of the best players in LoL, Faker sports two back-to-back World Championships with SK Telecom 1. The new champion skin from developer Riot Games pays homage to one of his greatest outplays in LoL esports history, in which Faker goes against KT Bullet’s Yoo “Ryu” Sang-wook who also used Zed.

With a third of his life left, Faker miraculously comes back and kills Ryu, solidifying their win of Champions 2013 Summer.

What is actually taken as homage is the commentary that Erik “DoA” Lonnquist makes when the clash happens. He comments, “Look at the cleanse, look at the moves. Faker! what was that?”

In his varied library of special interactions, Galaxy Slayer Zed alludes to the Faker Zed outplay by saying “Look at the skills, Look at the moves! Zed! What was that?” To top off the homage, the interaction only works when you kill another Zed player.

Riot has not yet announced the release date of the champion skin, but you can check out the skin in action below.
