In a recent blog post, the Call of Duty League proudly announced that broadcast drops will be coming to its official live streams.
With CDL partnering with YouTube for exclusive streaming rights earlier this year, this will be one of the first attempts on YouTube to have stream drops, a feature that is very popular on Twitch.
As of now, CDL highlighted that the drops will consist of exclusive, cross-platform, league-themed items such as sprays, team emblems, and animated calling cards. While the article did not specify further details, we’ll likely see more rare drops such as weapon skins and charms that feature team colors and mascots as the season goes on.
To get a chance to grab one of these drops, you will have to watch the CDL live stream on the official website or on the COD companion app while signed in to your Activision account.
