YouTube has scored a huge win over rival Twitch as it has just signed a deal with Activision Blizzard that will make it the exclusive streaming platform for all of the company’s esports.

The multi-year deal includes all Overwatch League, Call of Duty League, and Hearthstone esports matches.

Additionally, the agreement also locked in Google Cloud as the preferred game hosting infrastructure provider for these games.

The partnership does not include China as YouTube services are banned there.

All competitions will be live-streamed on each league’s respective YouTube channel and will include archived and other special content.

“We’ve worked closely with Activision Blizzard for the past few years across mobile titles to boost its analytics capabilities and overall player experience. [With this partnership], we can now expand our relationship and help power one of the largest and most renowned game developers in the world,” said Sunil Rayan, Head of Gaming, Google Cloud.
