Rockstar Games has announced that from now until the end of May it will donate 5% of all revenue from purchases made in GTA Online and Red Dead Online to COVID-19 relief efforts.

The relief efforts aim to help regions and countries where Rockstar Games has operating studios, which includes North America, the United Kingdom, and India.

“The funds will be donated to local communities and businesses struggling with the impacts of COVID-19, both directly and by supporting some of the amazing organizations who are on the ground helping those affected by this crisis,” according to Rockstar Games.

GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are two of the highest-selling and most lucrative titles Rockstar offers. Both games also consistently receive new free content, which keeps players logged in on Rockstar Game’s online servers.
