Swedish esports organization Godsent has announced its entry into Valorant esports by signing an all-female roster comprised of former Apex Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) players.

The all-female Valorant team is comprised of Brazilian player Hosana “Tinylady” Kmiecik, French player Boina “alikea” Alicia, Swedish player Lilly “Katti” Lucas, as well as the German duo of Julia “Juju” Steffen and Nicole “nCL” Hanser.

Tinylady and Juju both notably played Apex Legends competitively under Halocline Gaming, while Alikea was a former CS:GO player who quickly showcased her skills as soon as she moved to Valorant.

Meanwhile, Katti and nCL are both streamers that have been constantly streaming and practicing in the game since the early days of the closed beta.

“We are very honoured to announce that Godsent have signed a professional [Valorant] female team. This is only the beginning,” the organization said in an announcement on its official Twitter account.

Godsent has yet to reveal when they will debut the new roster, though it must be noted that Valorant’s competitive scene is currently comprised of a few community-run tournaments.

Even if Valorant is only a month into its closed beta phase, the hype surrounding the game has prompted players from other shooter games, such as CS:GO, Apex Legends, and Overwatch, to try their luck in its fledgling competitive scene before its expected rise to a top tier esport.
