Patch Up Service is a feature in Fortnite that allows players to restore their lost health. However, it doesn’t recharge the shield, so you’ll still need to find a Shield Potion, Chug Jug, or Small Shield Potion before getting back into the action.
Patch Up Service is a great alternative to healing items such as Medkits and bandages, as it instantly restores all of your health in exchange for gold bars.
However, the only caveat is that there are only a few methods available for purchasing and using this service in Fortnite Battle Royale.
How to purchase Patch Up Service in Fortnite
There are mainly two ways to buy the Patch Up Service in Fortnite. The first method is by purchasing it from the Mending machines, but many players have reported that these machines aren’t currently selling this item due to a pesky bug.
Although Epic hasn’t acknowledged this issue yet, chances are the game developers will get rid of this glitch in the next hotfix.
Meanwhile, the only way to purchase the Patch Up Service in Fortnite is by speaking to either the Peely or Korra NPC character. Peely is the iconic banana character who can be found near Restored Reels in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.
At the same time, Korra can be found at her Elemental Shrine, located on the western coast of Classy Courts.
Once you spot them, interact with the NPC and spend 100 gold bars to acquire the Patch Up Service. Finally, it’s important to note that you can’t use this service if you have a full health bar.
