This should iron out The Finals stuck on the connecting screen and any other minor hiccups.

Verify game files

If nothing else works, it’s worth verifying games from Steam to ensure all the game files installed on your computer are complete and unaltered.

  • From the Steam Launcher, right-click on The Finals from the game library and select Properties from the menu.
  • Select the Installed Files tab and click Verify integrity of game files.
  • Steam will verify the game’s files. This process can take several minutes.
  • Once it is completed, the verification window will automatically exit.

If the issue persists, try deleting temporary files. To do this, activate Run from Windows and type “%temp%” in the box. Select all files and folders here and Shift+Delete them.
