Liquid pull off the greatest comeback in DPC history

In an absolutely crazy game four of the Epicenter Major grand finals, Team Liquid pulled off the greatest comeback in DPC history. Vici Gaming was in firm control of the game, with a massive 45,000 gold lead, but after killing Amer “Miracle” Al-Barkawi’s Arc Warden, they failed to kill his Tempest Double, which then went ham and took down hero after hero, eventually earning an Ultra Kill.

On the back of Miracle’s play, Liquid rushed the Radiant base, and eliminated the final VG hero to complete the comeback. However, that wasn’t enough…

Vici Gaming wins the Epicenter Major

Despite Liquid’s heroics in game four, Vici Gaming were able to recompose themselves and take game five to win the Epicenter Major.

Zhou “Yang” Haiyang’s Mars made all the right moves, playing his initiator role perfectly. By landing precise Spears on different Liquid heroes, VG was able to take control of the Dire base and Liquid were unable to stop them as they rolled to victory.

Bonchan clutches out CEO 2019

Masato “Bonchan” Takahashi came out on top of an absolutely stacked field at CEO 2019, defeating the likes of Daigo “The Beast” Umehara and Masahiro “Machabo” Tominaga on the way to a grand finals matchup against Fujimura “Fujimura” Atsushi.

Fighting from the losers bracket, Fujimura managed to take a nailbiting first set that came down to the final round. But Bonchan made adjustments to his game in the second set, and closed it out 3-1, with a beautiful anti-air and dash to escape the corner, followed by a clutch bait and counter punish low normal to win the tournament.
