If you’re playing the Onslaught activity in Destiny 2, chances are you have already received a random roll of the Recluse, and while that’s good, we can do better.

The once PvP-centric Light weapon now works better in Destiny 2’s PvE activities, thanks to the addition of new perks such as Desperate Measures and Destabilizing Rounds.

Our Recluse god roll was curated for Destiny 2’s PvE activities.

Repulsor Brace and Frenzy are ideal perk combinations if you’re using the Void subclass. Repulsor Brace is still one of the best endgame debuffs in Destiny 2, which grants an overshield every time you kill a void debuffed target.

It synergizes well with Frenzy, as you get a damage buff, improved weapon handling, and reload speed the longer you stay in combat.

However, if you’re not running Void, you can benefit more from Subsistence and Desperate Measures. Subsistence will grant you ammo from reserve, and Desperate Measures will allow you to deal bonus damage.

For the barrel, we recommend Smallbore, as it will get you increased range and stability. You could also opt for Corkscrew Rifling if you want improved Handling as well.

As for the magazine, we recommend Flared Magwell for faster reloading if you have the Repulsor Brace/Frenzy perk combinations. In case you decide to go with Subsistence/Desperate Measures, High-Caliber rounds is a better option since it lets you stagger enemies.

That concludes our Destiny 2 Recluse god roll guide.
