The esports scene’s greatest champions are about to raise the standards of competitive play even higher with the arrival of the Asus ROG Swift 360Hz, the world’s first 360Hz monitor.

The groundbreaking display is turning heads at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020, which is currently ongoing in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Powered by NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, the Asus ROG Swift 360Hz is specifically designed for professional competitive gamers. With its unprecedented refresh rate of 360Hz complementing the immense processing power of high-end gaming PCs, this monster monitor will enable players to plan and flesh out their in-game strategies down to the last millisecond.

The Asus ROG Swift 360Hz sports a 24.5-inch display size with a 1080p Full HD panel. The monitor is decked out in the sleek design cues that Asus’ Republic of Gamers line is known for.

Asus revealed that the ROG Swift 360Hz was tested on massively popular competitive titles like Overwatch and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The display demonstrated a noticeable improvement in motion clarity and responsiveness over 240Hz monitors.

Whereas a typical 60Hz monitor would refresh nine times in the blink of an eye, the upcoming ROG flagship display would refresh the image a whopping 54 times, according to Asus’ official release. Even compared against widely used 240Hz gaming displays, the ROG Swift 360Hz offers a difference of up to 50% more frames.

For competitive gamers, this equates to smoother in-game animations and more precise target tracking — essential elements that can spell the difference between victory and defeat.
