Steam users can now play co-op games with their friends anywhere in the world thanks to the new Remote Play Together feature.
Even games that don’t natively support online play are included in the feature, as well as enabled cross-platform play across Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android.
All players have to do is launch their chosen title and invite friends by choosing “Remote Play Together.” The party must accept the invitation in order to play co-op.
With Remote Play Together, video, audio, and even voice chat are shared between the players.
The launch of Remote Play Together comes with a Steam sale on a bunch of couch co-op games. It will run until November 25.
