This is part of “Battle for Tokyo“, a series on the teams competing at the ONE Street Fighter Tokyo Challenge.

On October 6, 10 of the world’s best Street Fighter pros will descend on Tokyo to participate in the first-ever ONE Street Fighter Tokyo Challenge.

Competing against the country teams representing Japan, Korea, and Taiwan will be an All-Star squad made up of three legendary players from Singapore, China, and Hong Kong.

Kun Xian “Xian” Ho

Xian is a legendary player from Singapore who started his esports career back in 2009. He won Evo in 2013, defeating Hajime “Tokido” Taniguchi in an amazing grand finals match.

In Street Fighter V, Xian had his best year in 2017 after he switched from F.A.N.G. to Ibuki, winning Final Round, FGT Extreme Masters 5, Thaiger Uppercut, and VS Fighting all in the same year.

This year he had his best finish at Versus Masters in Singapore, where he lost in the grand finals to Bonchan.

Xian is known for his incredible execution and innovative gameplay. He often plays characters that others deem low-tier, but in his hands, they can become nightmare matchups for any opponent.

Zhuojun “Xiao Hai” Zeng

Xiao Hai is one of the most famous FGC pros in China and has been competing professionally since he was just 14 years of age. He’s considered one of the greatest King of Fighters players of all time, winning Evo in both 2014 and 2016. He’s also had a lot of success in Street Fighter, starting in 2012 when he picked up Street Fighter IV.

Xiao Hai has won multiple high-profile Street Fighter tournaments throughout his career, taking home the gold at G-League, The Brooklyn Beatdown, and SoCal Regionals in 2016, and Fight Club and Fighter Star in 2017.

Xiao Hai is a Cammy player but is also a highly-proficient Karin, as seen during his run at the Taipei Major this year.

Jonny Lai “HumanBomb” Cheng

Humanbomb is a veteran Street Fighter pro who has been playing professionally since 2012. While he’s yet to win a major tournament, he consistently places well, and is always a threat to upset the top-ranked pros at any tournament he enters.

Humanbomb is one of the only pros still playing Chun-Li, but his Chun-Li is considered one of the best in the world and he’s defeated top tier players like Fuudo and Mago with her. He also had an amazing match with her against Bonchan at the Saigon Cup this year.
