League of Legends’ True Damage skins to feature Qiyana and Senna in Louis Vuitton pieces

Popular MOBA game League of Legends has just revealed a champion skin line for True Damage, the next virtual band following the sensational debut of virtual girl group, K/DA, last year.

Qiyana, Ekko, Yasuo, Akali, and the newly-released Senna are the LoL champions that will make up this five-man hip-hop band. All members will be dressed in hip-hop inspired outfits.

Qiyana and Senna, in particular, will each get a Prestige Edition skin, which feature Louis Vuitton-designed pieces by LV Artistic Director of Women’s Collections Nicolas Ghesquière.

Summoners will have to purchase a pass and play games during the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds) 2019 in-game event to unlock the exclusive LoL x Louis Vuitton Qiyana Prestige Edition skin, which ends on November 26.

TNC beats Gambit at ESL One Hamburg to be the first SEA team to win an ESL event

TNC Predator finished their historic ESL One Hamburg run by defeating Gambit Esports in a thrilling grand final match that went the distance.

Going into the grand finals, the Filipino squad had a 13-1 record, and everyone had already picked them to win the tournament. But, Gambit Esports showed their resolve and pushed TNC to their limit.

The back-and-forth series went to five games, with TNC finally coming up on top in the last game, with a lineup of tanky cores. TNC became the first SEA team to win an ESL One event and took home US$125,000.

Fortnite broke records by having 7 million viewers staring into nothing all at the same time

Two weeks ago, Epic Games did the unimaginable, sending one of the world’s most popular and actively played online multiplayer video games into a black hole.

For nearly 48 hours, Fortnite went dark, but somehow, people kept watching the stream to find out what would happen next.

The black hole event, officially titled “The End”, resulted in jaw-dropping concurrent viewership numbers on major social platforms Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube. More than seven million players tuned in at the same time to figure out what was happening — or perhaps see what was coming next.

Twitter had 42.8 million views, tallying approximately 50.7 million minutes watched. Viewership on this platform peaked with 1.4 million users watching simultaneously. YouTube saw 4.3 million users watching the (non-)event concurrently across all of its channels.

Jinsoo takes first place and US$450,000 at Drodo Studios’ first Auto Chess Invitational

Korean pro, Park “Jinsoo” Jin Soo, took home the first-place trophy and US$450,000 in prize money last weekend at Drodo Studios’ Auto Chess Invitational 2019 tournament.

The tournament was held in China over a three day period with 32 players from around the world competing for a share of the US$1 million prize pool.

After four hours of play, Jinsoo took first place with victories in games three and four, finishing with a final score of 37 points, narrowly defeating Chinese player Jia Chuan “Arch Devil” Tian, who finished in second just a point behind.
