With Week 1 of the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League in the books, we saw T1 take the top spot of the group stage, with wins over Execration and Reality Rift.

There were a total of six teams that played in the first week of the group stage, and they were filled with incredible individual plays and amazing coordination.

Here’s a look at the best highlights from Week 1 of the tournament:

5. ddz outplays Tims at the end of a team fight

NEW Esports’ smoke gank attempt earned them two quick kills on TNC heroes. This forced Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte’s Terrorblade to join the team fight to even the odds for TNC.

But, Yi Liong “ddz” Kok continued to focus down enemy heroes with his Void Spirit. He even outplayed Timothy “Tims” Randrup’s Mirana as he exited the team fight, and earned his own triple kill.

4. LaNcE cuts through T1

NEW Esports’ hard carry, Hsien Wan “LaNcE” Fua sliced through T1’s heroes outside the Radiant base to earn himself a quick Rampage at the 23-minute mark of Game 1.

3. Tims drops the hammer on Adroit

After a quick gank on Damien “kpii” Chok’s Necrophos in the middle lane, Adroit was baited in by Gabbi’s Ursa, which set up a perfect Echo Slam from Tims and helped TNC earn a teamwipe.

2. Meracle melts Team Adoit’s heroes in the Dire base

Week 1 MVP, Galvin “Meracle” Kang Jian Wen put together his own amazing Phantom Assassin performance by finishing off Team Adroit with a Rampage in the Dire base.

1. Gabbi avoids YamateH’s Echo Slam with his BKB activation

TNC’s Gabbi displayed unbelievable reaction speeds as he dodged Ng “YamateH” Wei Poong’s Blink-Echo Slam attempt with his Black King Bar activation. This would eventually lead to TNC taking over the Dire base and to Gabbi earning his squad their second win of the tournament.
