Day 2 of the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League showcased two more best-of-two group stage matches. The all-Filipino matchup between Execration and Team Adroit ended with a 1-1 tie, followed by NEW Esports stunning T1 in a surprise 2-0 sweep.
Execration 1 – 1 Team Adroit
Adroit dominated in game one of the first series of the day. Adroit captain Marvin “Boomy” Rushton’s support Tiny wreaked havoc around the map, giving John Anthony “Natsumi-” Vargas’s Alchemist the space he needed to grow into an unstoppable force and lead the team to a 30-minute victory.
Execration bounced back in game two behind an excellent performance by Jinn “Palos” Lamatao on Morphling. Execration’s young carry player finished with 15 kills against just two deaths as his team outlasted Adroit in a 47-minute brawl to finish the series with a tie.

NEW Esports are off to a great start with 4 points from one series win and one tie, with T1 sitting behind them with 3 points from one win and one loss. Adroit follow with 2 points from two series ties, while Execration sit at the bottom with one tie and one loss.
