Americas-based Lowkey Esports officially announced its entry into Southeast Asia with the establishment of a new Dota 2 team in the Philippines.

The team line-up — a mixed group of fresh faces and long-time vets — includes Sam Solomon Enojasa ‘Sam_H’ Hidalgo (formerly TNC Predator) as well as ex-Neon Esports teammates, Kenneth “Flysolo” Coloma, and Christian John “Skadilicious” Abasolo.

This new challenger in the Dota 2 esports space is already looking to shake up the scene as it competes in the Lupon WxC Invitational. The fledgling squad already played against Adroit (lost, 0-2), SGD (lost, 0-2), and Neon (won, 2-0).

While it’s too soon to tell if this Lowkey Dota 2 team will make the cut for global competition, they’re worth keeping an eye on as a potentially strong contender for Dota 2 glory in Southeast Asia.
