Southeast Asian squad Fnatic took the series against Team Aster after winning both games — easily taking the second, but the first game against Aster was an hour-long slugfest.

Fnatic’s drafting of the Naga Siren and Disruptor combo won them the game in the end, but there were certainly hairy moments, especially when Fnatic’s Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon’s Naga Siren tried to go for a solo kill at the bottom lane at the 39-minute mark.

He failed to do so and had to face all of Team Aster alone, but managed to get away with a sliver of health, thanks to Kam “Moon” Boon Seng’s Viper taking out the Homing Missile that would have killed him.

In the end, Fnatic prevailed and managed to take both games from Aster, setting up for a match against Nigma for an Upper Bracket berth at the Major.
