The competition is heating up.

Following the earlier announcement that Team Secret and PSG.LGD will be competing at the inaugural ONE Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational, ONE Esports is pleased to announce that Russian powerhouse Virtus.pro and North American giants Evil Geniuses are the next two teams that will be heading to Singapore.

Taking place from December 20-22 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the ONE Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational will feature a total of 12 teams competing for a share of the US$500,000 prize pool.

Having placed fifth-sixth at The International 2019 in Shanghai, North American team Evil Geniuses are former TI winners as well, and feature an all-star line-up with players such as mid-laner Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan and carry player Artour “Arteezy” Babaev.

While EG have not won any titles recently, they’ve been consistently placing in the top two-three in recent tournaments, and the ONE Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational will be a test for them to see if they can outfight, outmaneuver, and outplay their opponents to claim the crown.

Russian powerhouse squad Virtus.pro is known as the team to beat at any tournament, and their presence at the ONE Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational should prove no different despite the loss of offlaner Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov to regional rivals Na’Vi.

The Russian team will be looking to prove themselves after their 9-12th placing at The International 2019, and their opponents should be wary of a savage mauling from these Russian bears.
