Battle Royale game Apex Legends will be going mobile next year.

Electronic Arts’ (EA) free-to-play title is planning to expand to mobile and platforms other than the PC and console, according to a report by Dot Esports.

The port project was revealed during the company’s earnings call. Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson said that Apex Legends will come to “mobile, new platforms and new geographies”, after reaching 70 million players this year.

No official date has been confirmed yet, but EA CFO and COO Blake Jorgensen said that Apex Legends will be available on mobile on 2021 fiscal year, which begins on October 1, 2020.

Apex Legends is currently available on PC Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Wild Rift, League of Legends’ player vs player MOBA, is also set for a mobile release next year.
